High School Girls Basketball

Coach Bach was fired as the HS Girls Basketball Coach in October, 2025.  Bach was the starting point guard for the Lady Panthers from 1989 to 1994, where she scored 1,213 career points—ranking among the program’s top 10 all-time leading scorers and top 5 all-time assists leaders. During her career, she helped lead the Lady Panthers to three consecutive Regional Tournament appearances and captured the 1993 38th District Championship.

After graduating from Augusta, Bach continued her basketball career at Midway College until injuries brought it to an early close. She began coaching at Augusta Independent more than 25 years ago, serving as head coach of the middle school girls’ team and as a member of the Augusta High School Lady Panthers coaching staff before stepping away from coaching in 2015.
