In addition to donations, the foundation seeks grants and conducts annual fundraisers to generate funding to support our students and school.
- The Augusta Independent Educational Foundation, Inc. is also responsible for the archiving of the school history of the Augusta School District and its predecessors. The Archives Department was originally established by the Augusta High School Alumni Association in 1995, which merged with the AIEF, Inc. in 2015.
Since its establishment in 2013, AIEF, Inc. has raised funds for various technology initiatives and educational programs, and continues to provide two scholarships annually to our graduating seniors. Additionally, we have supported multiple bequests made by individuals who specified how they wish to have their donations used.
In addition to our financial initiatives, the AIEF, Inc.'s Archives Department continues to solicit donations of memorabilia and other artifacts to preserve the legacy of the Augusta Independent School District and its predecessors.
Finally, the AIEF, Inc. serves as the official Alumni Association of the Augusta High School and its predecessor institutions.
