Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has awarded a $5,000.00 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant® to Augusta Independent Schools. Augusta is one of more than 550 schools across the United States to be awarded a Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant this fall for school improvement projects during the 2012-2013 school year.

Each summer, Augusta Independent School offers a variety of summer camps to help keep our students involved and active in learning and sports.  Many of these camps are open to all students and the majority are free of charge.  Below are the camps available to your child this summer.  We hope to see a great turnout for each one!

Just in time for Earth Day, Augusta Independent School officials learned the district has been awarded a grant from the state Energy and Environment Cabinet.

Tanner Kelsch, a senior, was awarded one of 32 KHSAA/Forcht Bank Regional Sportsmanship Scholarships.

The Summer Lunch Program at Augusta Independent Schools will be from June 3rd - July 25th.

Ohio Valley Wrestling superstars Michael Hayes, Hannah and Holly Blossom visited on Friday, April 12^th, with the students in Kindergarten through sixth grades for an Ohio Valley Wrestling Community Outreach Program assembly in the Library of the school.
