Athletic Department Schedules “Athletics Readifest” & Free Physicals

On Tuesday, July 12, all Augusta students planning to play on a middle school or high school team this coming school year should attend the Athletics Readifest along with a parent or guardian. 

All parents/students are asked to be there at 5:30 as Athletic Director Jason Hinson will cover the following:

•  Learn about and sign-up for our new athletics platform that will be a central hub for communication, viewing schedules, payments, ticket purchases, etc.
• Hear about plans for the upcoming year
• Learn about changes made to the athletic handbook
• Learn how you can help our athletic department succeed by volunteering and fundraising.
  

The event will actually begin at 5:00 PM and run through 7:00 PM.  Before or after the 5:30 group meeting several other stations will be set-up. 

• Free sports physicals for Augusta students will be available.  Any student who plays on a middle school or high school team is required to have a current physical. 
• There will be sign-ups for all middle school and high school sports for the 2022-23 school year.  Coaches from each sport will be available to conduct the sign-ups an provide information.
• Pay the $25 per athlete athletic fee.
