Miller Named to All-State Cross Country Team

Grayson Miller

Augusta cross country runner Grayson Miller has been named to the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association All-State Cross Country Team.

The honor is given to the top 25 runners in each race at the KHSAA Cross Country State Championship.  Miller finished 18th in that race.  It is the sophomore’s second consecutive year earning the honor as he was also on the 2021 All-State Team after finishing 25th at the State Meet last season.

Miller’s other highlights from the season included winning races at the Buffalo Trace Conference Championship and the GRC Coaches Classic.  He was also the individual boys Region Champion, giving Augusta its first-ever individual region champ in cross country.  Miller also secured his first-ever sub-17:00 race, running a time of 16:57 in the conference meet at Mason County.
