The Augusta Independent Educational Foundation, Inc. recently donated $7,325 to Augusta Independent School for Chromebooks. The donation will be used to purchase Chromebooks, cases, licenses and a charging cart earmarked for the 6th grade class. Every student in the middle and high school grades will now be equipped with a device as part of a one-to-one district initiative. The Chromebook Project is a priority of Augusta Independent Educational Foundation until the K-5th classrooms are equipped with devices.
The foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation and all donations are tax-deductible. Donations can be made by visiting the foundation Facebook page, the Augusta Independent School District webpage or mailed directly to the 307 Bracken Street, Augusta, KY 41056.
